Im making a cake that has to be carrot cake and the only frosting that really goes with that is the cream cheese kind so instead of frosting the cake with buttercream, i have to use the cream cheese. I was going to make the marshmallow fondant at home cuz i hear the wilton is yucky. Will this all work together? I also have to consider ill be transporting this cake 6 hours by car….Thanks!
And yes, i want to cover a traditional carrot cake with cream cheese frosting WITH a fondant cover. Would that be too much? I dont want to put a buttercream on a carrot cake…but all the recipes say to use buttercream when putting a layer of fondant…im stuck?
