I have a classic convertabile car which I just bought new weather stripping for about two years ago. Today I noticed that the weather stripping is already starting to deteriate and was wondering what is the best way to preserve it. I am talking about the rubber stripping that surrounds the door. I am not refering to the vinyl top itself.

Possible suggestion that I herd of: 303, vasaline, WD-40, and silicone lubracant.
