I want to put 2 dvd players in the headrests of my car, I need some where the headrest comes with the dvd player so i can just replace my factory ones. Should I just go to best buy or get them off the net? What is the best brand (sony, audiovox etc.) I can adjust my budget I just need some advice on this matter. I also want ones that could hook up to a game system but easy to install and use. Oh and its for a 2009 Ford Escape with a beige interior.

I drive an audi a6 1997.
the guys at the dealership, and every auto mechanic i’ve talked to tells me i need to only use one certain kind of coolant/antifreeze liquid in my car (the pink kind). and that i should NOT put any water in the reservoir. supposedly mixing two kinds of coolants can cause bubbles, etc etc. the pink coolant that is specifically made for my car is expensive (35$ a bottle)

the other day a guy told me i should mix water in the coolant reservoir, AND that it doesnt matter at all what kind of coolant i used. he laughed at me when i told him that my car needed a certain kind of coolant fluid, and that i didnt add water to the reservoir. he said i was getting ripped off and the guys at the dealership were just trying to get money out of me.

I’ll be straight up i dont know much about cars, but i need to know a solid answer to this question from someone who knows something about cars.

is it OK if i add water to the coolant/antifreeze reservoir? is it OK if I do not use the pink coolant specifically made for my car? is it really BAD to add a different kind of coolant?

Right now more than ever i need to figure this out because my car has a coolant fluid leak (I am not sure where it is coming from)
and until I take the car to the shop, I cannot afford to buy more of the expensive coolant. I need to know if I can use regular coolant from the gas station. or add water in the meantime.

ANY MECHANICS OR GUYS KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT CARS?

I have a 1996 Plymouth Neon, and the cigarette lighter won’t work. About a year ago, I was given a cigarette lighter from a different car completely and put it in mine (probably not the best idea). I heard a sizzle after attempting to push the lighter for flame, and the lighter hasn’t worked since. I’m assuming it could be a fuse, but I checked the box and seems to be fine. I know there’s a way to fix this, but also, is there a way to be able to use this cigarette lighter for cigarettes, and then put in an iPod charger/player, alternating the two? The lighter has so many uses……thanks for your help! Please be specific

i have a 2007 suzuki aerio. it was about $8500. [cheap i know] i have paid off about $4,000. is it possible to trade in my suzuki and use the money i have paid off as a down payment on another, better, car? my friend did something like that, but i dunno if thats exactly it. is that possible? plz dont be rude. im not to bright when it comes to cars, or anything like that. but advice is appreciated. thanks

I am trying to find out what kind of legal action I can take, and if I should sue the town or my neighbor?
I purchased my home 9 years ago more then half of that has been spent in hell…When I moved into my house there was
a well kept field/lot ……. NOW the field/ lot is a horror its full of junk cars, junk, pigs, goats, chickens, ducks, 4 YAPPY schnauzers PLUS a pit bull that bark almost non stop
They moved a trailer in and its parked against town ordinances they actually bargained with my neighbor to stop harassing us and they would let them
put the trailer in even though it does not have enough space… Needless to say he DID NOT stop harassing infact it got worse. He also bought crack trailers from the next town called Stratton. they are not hooked up they are just used for storage either way once upon a time the town passed a ordinances against trailer. The town has ordinances against so many animals but they refuse to abide by them as our town has NO law enforcement. They also have a ordinance that you can only have a pile of junk so many feet by so many feet I have went to the town and begged for help because his chickens was coming over and destroying my yard
his dogs was defecating in my yard all this lead to a restraining order due to him threatening to kill my kids my dogs and me. ( all of his screaming and yelling was caught on tape via 911 ) I have spent thousands and thousands on my house adding a screen porch a deck and redoing every room in my house. With all the junk and smells and the fact it looks like I live across the street from a crack village am concerned at what it is doing to my property value. I am also concerned that I wont be able to sell my house ( who wants to live across the street from a junk yard I can never truly express how bad it really is ) I have got no help from the town board because they are scared to death of my neighbor cause he is not all there in the head… I have asked them for some law enforcement and they say there is no problems in town… the fact is there are no problems on THAT side of town. what kind of legal action can I take and against who? I read a long time ago about loss of enjoyment it had to do with real estate but I cant find it now… anyway I seriously need help ! I am miserable and have to take anti depressants and yes its due to my neighbors
dogs barking the stink the thought of my property being worth way less then I paid for it harassment thinking they are shooting guns at midnight when it was a potato gun.

I dont think that would be of any help this is a tiny town very rural… I am looking to try and recoup what will be my loss in value of my home.. dog i wish it was A dog there are 5 dogs that bark almost non stop I have nothing against a dog barking.. Heck I have 3 dogs of my own ( 2 Rotties 1 Chi) and NO they do not bark all freaking day…. there is NO law enforcement in this town that means File a noise complaint would be just a joke sheriff department will not help on this matter…. I did report them to CBI and FBI teh sheriff department tells me they are watching them but they been saying that for 8 of the 9 years I have lived here…

I’m getting a 1987 Trans Am with a stall converter on it. I’m honestly new to cars and dont know much at all about them. I read on here though what they do and how they work. I dont plan on using this car for racing, just driving. What are the downsides to having a stall converter on this car?

I’ve recently acquired a green spotted puffer and I’ve read online that one of the musts in caring for puffer is keeping their teeth from over growing. Every article I’ve read mentions about snails, I’m just wondering if it is a must? Because I neither have the budget to get equipments to cultivate the snails(I’ve heard they tend to become an infestation or over bloat the puffer if not kept separately), nor the time to fetch fresh live snails every few days(I’m a college student without a car -_-|||). Can I use frozen shrimp from the supermarket? And what other kinds of food can I use to wear down its teeth?

There’s this guy from my past, I’ll just call him Mario, and I’ve been thinking back about time we spent together. I just couldn’t figure him out at all. I couldn’t figure out if Mario was interested in me as gf type or if he just wanted to use me, know what I mean? Ok, we met years ago thru a mutual friend, actually he, Mario, came up to us (to me and the mutual friend, he already knew her, the mutual friend) and we, me and Mario, hit it off right away. It was so easy to talk to him, he was funny, cool and cute. Anyway, Mario invited my friend, the mutual friend (I’ll just call her Michelle from now on) and I to visit him sometime at his apt. We started to visit him at his apt. every weekend. We had a great time just talking or watching movies or tv. We could spend hours just talking about nothing or stupid stuff, but then something changed. One day Michelle and I went cruising and there was this guy that caught my eye. He was really good looking and I could tell he liked me too. Michelle already knew this guy and she told me he sort of had a rep as being a player. Well he followed Michelle and I, and pulled us over. We started talking and then after several minutes, he invited me to go cruising with him in his car. I accepted because I wanted to get to know him better and he was also really hot. Well the next night we (Michelle and I) went to our friend Mario’s apt. as we usually do on the weekends, but something was really different about him this time. He was really quiet with me and seemed to be a little mad at me even but I couldn’t figure out why. Well Michelle stepped out of the room for a few minutes, Mario right away started telling me that he’d seen me riding around with a guy the other night. I said nothing and then he said, ‘Well you should only go cruising with me’. Well I thought he was joking becuz he was always kidding around, so I started laughing and then he started laughing too and then changed the subject. He didn’t say anything else about it at all. Things pretty much went on as normal for a couple more weekends at his apt. and then just suddenly outta the blue a friend of his (a guy friend) arrived and invited Michelle to go cruising. She accepted so Mario and I were left alone at his apt. Mario then invited me to go cruising with him in his truck and I accepted. I thought we were just going to go crusing but instead he drove out of town onto a country road. We were parked there and all he did was just have his music on full blast as we sat there for several minutes, it was so loud I couldn’t even talk to him. I was sort of like, what’s going on, but I didn’t say anything. Then after a few minutes, he sort of started to lean in towards me, seemed like he wanted to kiss me but I’m not sure, and I got really uncomfortable so I quickly jumped out of the truck and started goofing around outside. Mario hesitantly got out too and we started acting silly together. We drove back to his apt. and by the time we got there our mutual friend, Michelle was back there waiting for us. Well it was late so Michelle and I said bye to Mario and left. Next weekend when we went to visit Mario again, he blocked the entrance to his apt and wouldn’t let us in. I got upset but didn’t ask for an explanation. I remembered he had a picture of me in there and I told him I would be needing my picture back and he said he’d get it, well as he went to get it I stormed in after him and saw a picture of some girl pinned up on his bedroom wall, it had never been there before and I’d never seen any pictures of any girl at all in his whole apt. He gave me my picture and then proceeded to walk me out of his apt. I got in my car and sped off. I never went back to his apt again. About a month after that incident, we ran into each other at a gas station. I had a bf of about 2 weeks and he asked me, ‘Why are you going out with so and so?’ I was still pissed at him for what he’d done at his apt so I really rudely replied, ‘Because I like him’ and I walked off before he could even reply. Ok, so I’m very confused, I don’t know if this guy really liked me as gf type or if he maybe already had a gf (the girl in the picture he had pinned up on his wall) and he didn’t tell Michelle and I about her because he just wanted to use me. I’m confused and would like to talk to him about all this but it’s been many years and I don’t even know where to begin. I no longer have a boyfriend but am not sure if he has one or not. I haven’t seen him with anyone. I’ll prob get the nerve up to talk to him about it but in the meantime I just want to get some opinions. Do you think this guy was really interested in me as gf or was he just planning on using me?
