I recently came across a seller on craigslist who claims that he is a Lt. in US military stationed in London. He told me that he can send his car through the military cargo plane and that using ebay transaction would protect both of us. This is my first purchase of a car how can I sure that this isnt a fraud? Please help ASAP

I need to know what happens after a person gets an English major and wants to write a book. Like do you need to go and look for some place were they would offer you the job for writing a book or do you just use your knowledge and write a book on your own and publish it?Its like if you get graduated from automotive, you will know that you would be working inside a work shop and repairing lots of cars and have a lot of tools and stuff.
So what would it be like for a writer? Would he/she be working at home? On her/his own If she/he chooses to? How would that make money and how does it works? Thanks a bunch and I am a He!
LOL oO!

Oh!, Does an english major prepares you or teaches you how to be a book writer? ^^

I recently signed a bill of sale for a used car through a private party. Now the seller is saying that they want to keep the car for another 2 months before turning the car over to me. No money has yet changed hands but I have already been approved at my bank for a car loan and am awaiting the check. Is it acceptable for the seller to do this?

I will be paying the owner of a car that I damaged. We have agreed to not use our insurance companies, for certain reasons.
How do I write a contract that ensures that the owner will not come back asking for more money or sue me or anything like that? In other words, ensure zero liability.

I left my ex fiance August of 2008 for reasons of abuse. His father has an old house that is used for storage, which is where my ex and I had a lot of our furniture and other things stored. When I left, I did not have a truck to get my things, and he said my things weren’t going anywhere and I could go by and get them at any time. Over the next couple of months I’d gotten all of the clothes and everything I could fit into my car. I would call him to let him kno I’d be there to get the rest as soon as I could find a truck and trailer to use, and he replied by saying it was fine, that he wasn’t worried about it. At the end of April, I moved back to mom’s and was going to finally get my things (almost 9 months later). All of a sudden, mom gets a phone call from the people who live across the road from where my things are stored. The woman said that my ex was loading all of my things on a trailer and taking them somewhere. By the time I got down there (an hr away) he had dumped most of my things at his uncle’s saw mill to bury them. There was nothing I could do. My dressers were torn apart and busted, big shelves that were hand built by my father who had passed away almost 5 years ago when I was 16, my grandmother’s antique vanity was chopped up and glass from the mirror was strown all over the place. Everything destroyed. He came back there and told me that my charcoal grill was at his friends house in henderson, and that the 4 ft tall stereo/record player and speakers that my parents bought when i was a baby was in storage in the next town with all of the records that go with it. Me and my mother waited and waited, and he said he couldn’t get in touch with the guy to get it and said he’d take it to my mom’s. I haven’t heard from him since that day. I’ve called constantly, left messages, and I still don’t have that $2000 piece of equipment which is more sentimental value than anything, or my grill. Is there anything I can do? Its now been over a year since I left him, and 5 months since he destroyed everything and gave those things away. Oh, and he also took my washer and dryer off for scrap metal. Is there anything I can do? I worry about this night and day, I have got to do something!

Open Question: Why do guys not take me seriously?

I’m 20 years old and I live in Nevada, I’m very attractive and I make good money. I currently work in a cathouse (aka a brothel) where I do legal prostitution, but I always use a condom and I make good money doing what I do, and guys tend to be scared away from this. It’s not like I’m a street girl jumping from car to car, I made a career out of doing something that I like and I would never want to work a regular 9 to 5 job because I make well over $2,000 working in a cat house for 3 hours. Why do men never take me seriously, real sex is very much different from my job.
I havn’t been around the block, professional men come in and they are STD free and it’s verified, and on top of that I always use a condom. I’m a good business woman and I love making money and I’m happy with what I do.

i have a mitsubishi FTO, i’ve had the battery replaced, the terminals on the batterys cables replaced and, just a couple of days ago, the alternater replaced, BUT, i still have the same problem as i was having before. i leave the car for a couple of days and i have a dead battery!! i’m not leaving anything on and given it a thorough check to see if anything has been left on but can’t see anything obvious. it’s the bane of my life at the moment!! so frustrating!! is there any way to find out why the battery is going dead and where all this power from the battery is being spent?
