Car Tsar, Drug Tsar, Green Jobs Tsar etc. The news mainly Fox and the right have bean talking about “Tsars” for months now, more publicized with the recent stepping down of Jeremiah Wright. I have bean trying to find information on the history of “Tsars” in America, but I can’t find anything. I have hired they were first used by Nixon and almost every President sense. But I can’t find anything on who appointed the first “Tsar”, how many past Presidents had appointed, or even what there job is.

Any information on the subject would be much appreciated.

Im making a cake that has to be carrot cake and the only frosting that really goes with that is the cream cheese kind so instead of frosting the cake with buttercream, i have to use the cream cheese. I was going to make the marshmallow fondant at home cuz i hear the wilton is yucky. Will this all work together? I also have to consider ill be transporting this cake 6 hours by car….Thanks!
And yes, i want to cover a traditional carrot cake with cream cheese frosting WITH a fondant cover. Would that be too much? I dont want to put a buttercream on a carrot cake…but all the recipes say to use buttercream when putting a layer of fondant…im stuck?

i have a house that is up for sale with a shared driveway. the neighbor doesnt like us and when people come over to the house to look at it to buy she comes running out and says that the driveway can not be used and that its hers. my driveway connects 3 others and is connected to my garage so the only way to park a car in the garage is to use the shared driveway. every time i pull in she calls the cops and they tell me im not allowed to use the driveway at all which means i cant get into the garage with anything. is there a law or anything that i can tell the cops so that i am able to use the driveway. or could i file a lawsuit against her because we have had to drop the price of the house around 20,000$ because she is interefering and telling people lies about the driveway saying they cant use it
well i hear in ohio if you have had the property connected to the driveway for over 25 years theres nothing they can do .. and this house is very old more than 25 years but i dont see why the garage connecting to that would be there and not the other side if that driveway wasnt partially mine

I’m 16 and getting my license in a month, so i need a car. I’ve seen some listings on websites like autotrader.com and such that are like $500. Is this actually what you would pay or is there a catch? And what is the best way to but a used car?

it ran to where i never redlined but today i got into my car and it almost stalled on take off… it used to peel out really easily… now if i push on the gas alll the way from a stand still it almost dies.. once it goes above 2500rpm it’ll accelerate just as fast as it used to and actually shitf on the right points.. it used to hang at 5500rpm and not shift unless i let off the gas… now it redlines and shifts at the redline like it should with the pedal pushed to the floor.. it also sounds differetn.. it used to be loud and higher pitched… now its low pitch.. almost like its bogging.. any ideas?

He has always gotten into these fits of rage and has tried to burn down the house with my mother inside when I was a child. He has seen psychiatrists and been in the mental ward at the hospital in the past, but most of the time he acts like a fairly normal person until he gets angry. This has caused my mother to divorce him, his mother to move out of her own house, where he lives now and he can no longer keep any friends.

He has always been verbally abusive and I can handle that by just waiting until he cools off. Recently we had got into an argument. The family dog had peed on the carpet while I was in the other room on the phone and he had yelled at me to go get the paper towels. I told him that he knew where they were and that he could handle it himself. He got the paper towels and soaked up the dog pee with the first one then came into the room I was in and threw it at me! I picked it up and put it in the garbage and would have left it at that except that he threw a second one at me and called me a b****. I picked that one up marched back over to him and threw it back yelling that he was a grown man and perfectly capable of cleaning it up on his own! He then walked back to where I was in the other room and hurled a box at me that could have been potentially harmful if he hadn’t missed. I dropped the phone and then told him I was leaving and he told me he didn’t care and threatened to strangle my boyfriend if he ever saw him again.
I was terrified because he has never tried to physically harm me before and I did not want to wait to get hit by something so I garbed my purse and left the house. After staying with my boyfriends family for a night and then my aunts where my grandmother lives currently I decided I couldn’t impose on anyone any more and came home.
I don’t have the money to move out now and have no where else to go. I feel so embarrassed and ashamed to be in this position.

He is still pissed off at me so I can’t try to reason with him because it just makes him escalate. My mother has tried to talk to him about it but he just gets upset so she has to leave.
I am trapped in my room and only feel safe to leave when he is asleep or outside the house. I have debated staying at a motel but I fear it would use up what little savings I have and I can sleep in my car but my boyfriend threatens to drop out of college if I do that and that is the only reason I live here is so he can finish his degree and then we can move because I’ll have enough saved up by the time he graduates.

Is there any way out?

At my barn, we have a back field and a front field.
We always ride in the front field unless it gets flooded and soppy (which happens a lot) in which case we ride in the back field. Well, I have a hot blooded TB and any TB owner knows that bucks are not uncommon. haha. Wyatt likes to buck for some reason.
Anyhow, for most of the summer we had to ride in the back field because it rains all the time during the summer and the field never dried. So for about 2 months we rode in the back field. And during these two months, I didn’t see ONE buck. Not one. He was like the perfect horse. I’ve never seen him behave so well! I was so happy and I really got to work on some things.
But today we switched back to the front field and he starts bucking! Keep in mind he hasn’t bucked for two months at this point, and when we were riding in the front field before, he bucked almost every lesson. I’m used to riding out bucks by now, they are no big deal, I just prefer that he doesn’t buck, lol. He seems to behave better in the back field. I’m sure its nothing I’m doing because I’ve already asked my trainer.
So I have a few questions.
1. Does anyone else find that their horse’s behave better in certain fields?
2. What can I do to stop the bucking. (My trainer says he’s just being a butt) I ride it out and all, but by the next lesson, hes doing it again. (Oh and he never bucks at shows, just at home).

Just so you have some background on the fields,
The front field, is slightly smaller than the back, but not much, it is by the road, but Wyatt isn’t phased whatsoever by cars (only four wheelers). And there is a lake on one side (which has nothing to do with it) and the rest are surrounded by bushes.

The back field is a little bit nicer. It is huge because it includes a dressage ring and xcountry practice jumps, but the jumping part is not much bigger than the front field, however it is much more open. It has hardly any bushes around it, and is half a mile away from the road. No pond, or anything.

Oh and I thought I should add that he only bucks when we start to jump….. but I don’t think its the jumping….
Rae G ~ I always ride it out. I usually canter him until he stops. And then I’ll go to the jump, but then, when I pull him up to take a break, if I ask for canter to jump another course later he starts bucking again and we go through the whole process……I don’t know what to do. Most of the time I ride him at the canter, but if not, then I punish him by making him work at the trot, and really give me an inside bend. The worst punishment for a horse is asking it to work harder right? But usually riding him at the canter solves the problem, for that jumping course……
Hannah ~ hey my name is Hannah too!!!! lol. And I always growl at him when he does it!!!! lol. But I don’t think he cares! haha. I canter him in a tight circle, he just doesn’t respond. I mean he does but it takes a while and then it only lasts for that one round. When I stop and do a different course, he starts bucking and we have to go through it all over again. : /
We’ve already checked fit of the saddle, teeth, any discomfort, there is NOTHING!!!! haha. I’m convinced Wyatt is A) resisting work , B) being an A.SS or C) both.
I know he isn’t in pain, hes just being a butt, so I need to know how I can keep a butt from being a butt! lol. The first warning sign, is a warning buck, and I do what I can to prevent them from coming, but I don’t wanna pull him up because that’s what he wants!!! So that’s why I’m asking. I need to know, how I can keep him from bucking! He’s not in pain, hes just being a butt!
Turn N Burn ~ Thanks. Great answer. But I know my tack fits. We’ve checked everything. I always pick out his hooves before we ride. As far as riding out the buck, I’m pretty much an expert at that now. The other day, Wyatt got spooked when we were walking and he did a total bronco move. All four feet off the ground at once, and my butt didn’t leave the saddle. I’m just so used to it. lol. Its just like cantering for me! haha. I don’t mind riding them out. But I have other things I need to be focusing on. THats why I want this problem fixed.
oh and he was not trained to buck. Hes an OTTB. Raced once, not fast enough, so he was sold to me. Never been trained to buck.
The thing is, there is no getting used to that field. He has ridden there pretty much his whole life!!!! So it isn’t that he isn’t used to it. I’m telling ya’ll, hes just being a butt, I just need to know how to stop him from being an a.ss. haha

I have signed a year long lease for an apartment in a college town, it is snow the second week of school. My roommate and I are having an AWFUL time here and we would really like to get out of our lease. Here are some of the issues we are facing:

1. There is black mold in the bath tub and brown mold growing on the cieling above the tub
2. Our stove is constantly hot to the touch, as in it burns your hand if you touch it even if you have not used it all day. They claim they had it looked at and the heat is caused by the pilot light and there is nothing they can do.
3. Ocassionally we smell gas coming from the stove, even though we dont turn it on
4. Our oven does not work. at all.
5. We have no screens in two of our windows, causing bugs to get in
6. The railing on our outside 3 story staircase is loose.
7. The light fixture at the top of said staircase is so old that the screw is rusted over and we cannot change the broken light bulb, so we are left to climb the stairs with the loose railing in the dark at night.
8. The provided parking which we had to pay an additional 50$ each for, consists of total strangers blocking in your car as double parking is encouraged, and my car has been blocked in for a total of 12 hours at a time before, not to mention they do not enforce the parking pass rule
9. The smoke detector does not work
10. The power randomly goes off and then on again
11, Their painters left sharpie marks all over the walls

thats all i can think of for now, but i swear there is something new every day. my roomate and i each pay 350$/ month, which does not include utilities. I really need help getting out of this lease, and if anyone sees anything i could do PLEASE let me know. I made a huge mistake with this place and would greatly appreciate any help you could offer. thank you!!
