But from the start, analysts predicted that bCash for Clunkers/b would not boost sales for the year. September’s sales swoon seems to be making their case. Car sales are usually slow after Labor Day, but because of the recession consumers …

When i listen to most of that the first thought that comes into my mind is that this music means somethings about to go down
Like sometimes when im cruising in a car at night and something like ‘Across 110th street comes on’ i feel like i need to do something epic to it. (For some reason i think of bank heist)
Maybe its cause ive seen so many old Blaxploitation movies but what do yu think

I’m making a CD to listen to in the car and I need some good Christmas songs. Not the songs you always hear, but songs like The Night Santa Went Crazy by Weird Al, Santa Claus is Thumbing to Town by Reliant K, or Christmas List by Simple Plan. And I don’t want just a link to a website- I’m not stupid, I can do that myself. I know what Google and even Bing is.
I especially want songs by awesome rock bands or something that have put an epic twist on classic songs. Imagine if Avenged Sevenfold sang 12 Days of Christmas… wow…

Recently i watched a guy tell a story about how he cried at the Muppets movie, doing an experiment on himself where he went to see the movie, abandoned all prejudices and actually allowed the movie to take him in. It actually made him cry so his girlfriend chastised him for it. then he went on, complaining that girls complain their boyfriends are unemotional then when they show some emotional vulnerability the reaction is FACEBOOK, TWITTER, LOL.
anyway, one of his buddies pointed out that he found this guy’s reaction to the Muppets entirely understandable. and that its fine to to be emotional about puppets or anything that we anthropomorphize.
he then pointed out a fact that took me by surprise. Soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan cry when their bomb-disarming robots get blown up. and the reason for this is that in their minds, the robot took the hit for them. In their minds the robot becomes their buddy who sacrificed himself to save the team.
I think its logical. I have a classic car, a 1984 Audi Quattro, I spent so much time and money on this car I had unwittingly invested emotional interest into it. so when some asshole hit it with a truck, I went up the wall over it. more so than I would have if he’d hit my day-to-day car. the Audi is fine now, by the way. no body filler used, I worked many months to restore the ORIGINAL bodywork.
but about this robot thing, It makes sense but I’m wondering if there are any documented cases of it.

I have a 65 mustang so i know for a fact it will qualify, but im 17 (18 in a couple of months) and i dont know for sure if they cover people my age. I know that it comes with restrictions but all i will be driving it for is to school and back so that doesn’t concern me. also it would be helpful if anyone can reccomend a decent insurer.
