I was wondering if it’s possible to trade in your old (but still great working ) iPod for a credit towards most of a new one. Kind of like when you trade in cars at a dealer. I know they wont give me an iTouch instead of my Ipod classic. I’m just trying to figure out if I can get a big credit and pay the difference or a little more. I already know about the 10% for giving apple your old one. I’m not interested in that.

I’ve been watching alot of old tv shows and movies lately from the 70’s and 80’s. Man was rock music huge back then when it came to scenes where teenagers were hangin out driving in their cars for example. Now its referred to as classic rock of course. But what I also have noticed is that when movies and tv shows come out today, that feature young people, rock is not used nearly as much. Hip hop and rap has taken its place. Why is this?

I’m really starting to like cars, and I want to know more about them, maybe buy some quality posters/books about cars. Not so much classic cars (those too) but more like Ferraris, etc. Really expensive, gorgeous cars. I don’t want to buy more actual cars, I just want to learn about them and such…it’s hard to explain. Anyone who is a car person or has an interest in cars, where do I start with this?

If you’ve decided to buy a used car, you’ve already made a smart decision. You can get a car that’s almost as good as a brand-new one, without suffering the depreciation that wallops new car buyers as soon as they drive the car off the lot. Used cars — even those that are only one year old — are 20 to 30 percent cheaper than new cars. But there are other good reasons to buy a used car: Buying a used car means you can afford a model with more luxury/performance. You’ll save money on insurance. The glut of cars coming off lease makes finding a near-new vehicle, or “cream puff,” easy. Bigger bargains are possible for the smart used car shopper. Furthermore, the classic reasons to avoid used cars — lack of reliability and the expense of repairs — are less of an issue. Consider these related thoughts: Used cars are more reliable today than ever before. Some used cars are still under the factory warranty. Most new carmakers now sell certified used cars, which include warranties. The history of a used car can easily be traced using the VIN number. Financing rates for used cars have dropped in recent years. If you buy from a private party, the negotiation process is less stressful. True, you can’t be the first one on the block with the trendiest vehicle. But your consolation will come with the knowledge that you got a great deal and made a smart financial decision. So read on, as we guide you along the road to used car happiness.

Me and one of my best friends have been hanging out a lot lately. We’re seniors in high school. I’m pretty sure she likes me, but I don’t know if she’s just being friendly or not. Here’s what she’s done:
-I’ve noticed her looking over at me and staring at me a bunch lately. If I catch her, she’ll either look away real quick or start smiling and waving at me.
- She’s been telling me a lot about her problems with another guy who likes her, but she doesn’t like back. When he was texting her (he’s a mutual friend), she wanted to mess with him by saying she was going out with another guy. When she suggested it be me, she put her finger on her lips and started thinking out loud “well, if I’m going out with you, we should go to…” and she named a restaurant she likes and joked we should go to when we hung out alone the day before.
- She has been biting and pursing her lips a lot around me, stretching, and touching her neck a lot.
- She’s been playing with her necklace and her hair a lot, too.
- We hung out alone together one day and played basketball. we just screwed around and had a good time. THen we talked a bunch at that park about life and stuff, and she had her body completely facing me while doing that.
- Later that day, she called me and we just talked about nothing for about 30 minutes.
- She always teases me and says I’m a troublemaker and mean and other joking insults like that. She kept saying “I got my eye on you!”
- One day after a class field trip to an amusement park she acted really tired and exhausted and wanted me to giver her a piggyback ride.
- She kept asking me that day if I was having fun, and she sat by me on some rides, and screamed that she loved me on one of the rides
- When we sat down on the floor to play a card game she was sitting in the same position as me and laughed whenever we touched
- On the way home from our field trip we had a really fun conversation after I just asked her how work was going.
- Whenever we made eye contact we would keep it for a really long time
- She asked me really nicely if we could go get some food let at night, after we did she thanked me and when I said it was no problem she giggled.
- She’s been talking to me a bunch about college and has been talking to her cousin, who went to the same college and majored in the same area as I plan on, about some advice she would give to me.
- She’s been wanting me to work with her for a while now, and I’m going to apply.
- We ate lunch together and whenever we looked at each other it would be for a long time, but sometimes she wouldn’t look right in to my eyes.
- After we ate, she just sat in my car, talking to me for like 20 minutes.
- We were playing a card game on the floor, and when I laid down, she said “good idea!” and did the same thing.
- Another time I caught her looking at me, I saw her staring at me from the corner of my eye. I looked at her and stared back. I said “what?” and she shook her head a little bit and kept staring.
- I was texting someone and she asked who it was. I said that it was my girlfriend jokingly and she went along with it. She asked what her name was, what she’s like, etc.
- She hung out alone with me after work before we met up with a group of friends for a movie. She seemed kinda flirty I guess, idk
- She mentioned while I was driving places that day that she liked all the songs on my iPod, when I know she probably hasn’t heard most of them (I listen to classic and indie stuff)
- I haven’t shaved in a while and I asked if I should, and she said I should keep the scruffy look going, even though I know she normally doesn’t like that on guys.
- I bought some candy for the movie and she kept taking some from me and apologized each time and looked right at me when she did
- During the movie I sat next to her and my best friend and she always had her legs crossed to me, and would always laugh at stupid comments I’d make, and sometimes tell her best friend what I said
Thing is she doesn’t really seem that engaged usually when we text (she says she doesn’t like texting, but idk since she always seems to be texting this guy from work). She always calls me first though.

I am looking for my first car, and ran across a 1996 Jeep Cherokee Classic that is right in my price range. However, it has 250,00 miles on it. I was wondering if any Jeep owners could provide insight about this many miles. Should I be expecting problems? Assuming the original owners took care of it (oil change, tire rotation etc), how many more miles could I get out of it? Has anyone had any problems with their high-mileage Jeeps? Anything you could share would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
