Hi… would really appreciate any advice as to any options i now have….. i posted on here a little while ago, i was arrested with 603 old vhs tapes mostly horror, but some porn and the original animal farm tape (not the george orwell classic lol) wont bore with you the trial if i can even call it that, on the advice of my (duty) solicitor i pleaded guilty, she said a fine, she admitted to not understanding the charge to me, well i got 200 hours community service suspended sentence for 2 years and fined …great advice…on her advice i appealed…this is where im looking for any advice……… I started calling her office for two weeks before my appeal, and could never talk to her, i was told many different reasons,,however spoke to her monday when she told me she had been in a car crash, and had only just returned to work..ok, monday she said she would get on to it and not to worry, tuesday i called her again, and she said she was waiting for a barrister friend to call her back, wednesday he had called her back and her advice was now… dont appeal as i might get 3 years in prison, i told her previously i had to give 3 days notice to the court to stop any appeal, she said no,i could do it on the day.So with no alternative i cancelled my appeal, had no actual meeting with her, just grabbed 5 minutes on the phone with her…conflicting advice which i questioned and was told,,,different people different opinions ??? but a fine to 3 years is quite a difference i thought…ok, well she didnt stop the appeal, now its gone ahead in my abscence, which she also said, croydon crown court had not informed them of the appeal date,so they (she) would not be there anyway, got costs, extra fine a letter saying please wait for a further letter for any additional puinishment….. i called her up,she is not there, not in till monday, no one else to help etc etc receptionist actually said and i quote ” i have given you 5 minutes and i have other things to do …goodbye” have i got any options available to me,, i was i believe treated very unfairly to begin with, denied bail, phone confiscated, first time offender as an adult, terrible leagl advice which turned into NO legal advice…and now this, any advice would be greatly appreciated

What’s your fav classic car?
I Like the 1949 to 1953 classics such ad
Pontiac chieftian convertible
Desoto convertible
Packard convertible
Mercury etc. But my number one is the Pontiac chieftian convertible.

Should i bite on this car? is this a reliable car? i am getting it used and the problems are as follows:

Carfax reports a minor accident in 2003. They have also reported structural and frame damage was. We have inspected the car and see nothing that would effect it’s safety or roadworthiness. The car has been driven 7 years since the report. Odometer does not work, all other guages work fine, turn signals, headlights, brake lights are all in working order

here is what has been done to it (mechanical)

We have just installed a complete new cat back exhaust, new guibo center support shaft bushing, new plugs, air cleaner and valve cover cover gasket.

some notes:

This is a clean, good running example with cold air conditioning, smooth 5 speed transmission, good clutch and the high torque 6 cylinder engine.

i know that the e30 is a classic car, with a huge following, and i love it, but am worried that this is a very old car and i am not a mechanic, and wouldnt know what to do if something went wrong. I dont like the idea of pumping money into this car every few months.

cost: 3750

should i get it? looks like a great fun car

trying to find out what kind of car this is all i see is Chevrolet but i want the exact type http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_6Ia5YKfSRA help plz if u noe a lot about classic cars……thanks

We were watching old car ads (50s & 60s mostly) in my advertising class today and some of them had some really kooky features. Pop-up vanities, slide out tables, fold-out steps, one even had a sunshade that came out of the roof! Lol! I was just wondering if there was anywhere that I could get a list or find out what other interesting/weird features some older cars had.

I have a after market car charger for my ipod classic. Will the charger work for my iphone 4?

My step dad has a 1968 Caprice two door. The problems are as follows. The brake lights wont light up and the front and rear turn signals do not work. If you hit the turn signal lever nothing happens. The rear brake, parking, and signal lights do not light up. So stepping on the pedal does not light up the brake lights. The four way flashers do not work. The headlights are fine and the front turn signal and parking lights do illuminate but wont flash when the turn signal lever is actuated. I checked all the fuses and they are not blown. I don’t have much experience with classic cars so can anyone lend a hand? Thanks Just need a few tips like are the brake lights part of the turn signal circuits or will a bad brake switch render the turn signals inoperative.
