Like will my current car be “classic” in thirty to forty years if I take care of it? My dad has a Mercedes convertible from some time in the 60s that is well taken care of and he drives it for fun. His dad just bought it way back when and gave it to my dad when he graduated college and my dad just ended up keeping it. I mean, I don’t think people who bought these great cars in the 60s and 70s and were smart enough to keep them kept them with the knowledge that they’d someday be “classics” right? So should I keep my car for the next thirty years because thirty years from now cars will be drastically different and it will stand out in a cool way? I love my car so I’ll probably keep it anyway. I guess I’m just curious about how cars evolve from modern/current to classic. Are cars now well made enough to be classic or was it something about the materials and worksmanship about old cars that make them so timeless?

While browsing several models of Toyota, (Camry, Corolla, Venza, Sienna, and others) I notices a dramatic drop in interior quality as compared to the nineties Toyota models. I don’t see this same cheapness of interior in other cars except for the funny shaped Toyotas and Hondas. Can it be that American car companies are now respecting their customers by creating a decent interior instead of the classic cheap Toyota look, which consists primarily of paper thin plastic spray painted with cheap silver paint to make it look like metal? After browsing all the Toyotas I felt insulted. How stupid do they think I am?

READ GEORGE ORWELL’S 1984 AGAIN. Doesn’t it seem that the person who most dislikes the situation is the protagonist, Winston Smith? Aren’t the other characters doing fine? The book doesn’t contain any references to car-jacking, drive-by shootings, teenage pregnancy, or crack cocaine. The futuristic world described in the book sounds wonderful when compared to present day USA. Why, then, would we call it a dystopian novel? Just because the grumpy person happens to be the main character, we sympathize with him. There are probably books about child molesters out there that make you sympathize with them, too. It is the belief of Pine Tree State Mind Control that centralized command of behavior and action is needed to bring about not only law and order, but harmonious coexistence of all people on this planet.

We can gain inspiration from Orwell’s work of fiction. For those who have not read it, here is a summary. A bureaucrat of the future named Winston Smith works for an organization called the Ministry of Truth, which controls information as a way to keep citizens happy and informed. He eventually starts growing distraught and disruptive, until finally he is stopped by the authorities before he can do any real damage. The book is a classic piece of propaganda in that it glorifies Smith’s growing paranoia and anti-government ravings. It must be quite an inspiration to the Timothy McVeighs of the world.

It is this use of art to change opinions or raise passions that inspires Pine Tree State Mind Control. For years we have studied effects of subliminal messages and audio frequencies that affect the brain. Our studies began in the laboratory. Since the summer of 1996, however, we moved from our original mission of pure research to that of applications. In other words, we are actually using the science we’ve been studying to create a better world.

Maine residents may see a number of flyers like this one around the state. In the flyers and on this web page, you will see — but not consciously perceive — many subliminal messages. You might have heard music from Pine Tree State Mind Control on the radio, over the Internet, or live.. Hidden speakers will be located in public areas of some larger cities that will provide additional conditioning. The result is greater security for you and your families. All of these mind control components will be merely support for the new Art that we expect to produce and distribute through public channels. Please watch for them!

I inherited a 65 impala ss with the original 283 v8 2 speed transmission, only problem is the engine stalls all the time, it’s bad on gas (to put it lightly) and its putters along like its an oversized golf cart. my question is should i rebuilt the 120,000miles engine or just upgrade to something that’ll haul ass, the value of the car now is $10,000 and the interior and body are in excellent condition. I’m scared by upgrading the engine I’ll destroy the value of the car.

what do i have to buy to completely tune it up…
oh yeah when i start my car up.. i have to pump the gas…
but it does start up n run good..
but when i press the gas it shuts off..
sometimes… any advice?

I have a leather case filled with 25 22kt gold stamps of ‘25 of the worlds greatest classic cars’ It comes with the authenticity certificate and i have looked all over google and cant find anything about it, or cant find it on ebay either. Does anyone know if this could be worth money as i think it is rare. I have seen other 22kt gold stamps which range from £1 to £150. Is there anywhere that could tell me what its worth. Thanks

My chilhood was ruined because my dad slept with my stepsister (classic lolita - stanley krubic story).
Then in high school I was homeless and could not concentrate on my studies.
Then I did not go to university like all my friends because I had work/survive and had no parental support.
Then I felt like crap because all of this and so I did not have a girlfriend because I feel like I am a piece of garbage
This lead to drinking and pot smoking and computer games and loneliness.
And now I am 33, I dont own a house nor a car and I have crappy furniture and still no girlfriend or family.
I have a really good job and make more money then the average median income for a family of 4, but I still have a hard time paying rent and bills on time because the cost of living nowadays is crazy
And I am almost about to declare bankruptcy for the second time.

So basically I feel like there is no point of return and that my life is ruined and sometimes I figure I might as well end it now.
