I’m 24 years old, Male, and very mature, down to earth type of person. I consider myself Very professional, I DONT drink, smoke or party. and im a little conservative!
I currently live in Houston,Tx and have been wanting to move to The Big island Hawaii.
I have saved up approximately $5,000 so far for my move.I Absolutely love the beach, especially Hawaiian beaches.
I know that The big island is more of the Classic country part of Hawaii and that’s why i’m more attracted to it. I’ve been to Oahu, Hawaii and its way too crowded for me and they have more traffic issues than Houston.
So my question is what city on the Big island would you recommend that is easily accessible too beaches that you could drive your car onto and would make a great place to live?
(here’s a brief description of my career-)
I’ll be graduating from college in May (this year) with my I-car certificate which will allow me to work in any body shop in North America. By me having an I-car certificate only means that i have been trained with the minimum skills and requirements to work in a body-shop or car dealership.

My grandfather is in the hospital right now and I am living in his house with my son. He may or may not have to go to a rehabilitation home according to the doctor this afternoon. He only owes half of what his home is worth and I have been trying to buy it from him for 2 years while working on my credit. He also has an unregistered classic car he wants to sell to me that I also have been trying to buy for over 10 years. I dont want to try and cheat the system as i do intend to pay for everything. Ive lived in this house with him for 24 years and the car has been in our garage since he acquired it over 15 years ago. Also, if he wouldnt be allowed to sell anything to me, would he be allowed to sell it to someone else? He also might have long term insurance but we havent found out yet.

Open Question: Why wasn’t THIS 5 mics?!?

Inspired by Escobar, who used to ask these questions a long time ago.

The album that has been nominated for today is Soul Food by Goodie Mob. The source, in my opinion, has been very biased towards the east coast when it comes to ranking classic albums 5 mics. I can count on 1 hand how many southern albums are on the list. Soul Food by goodie mob is a classic, socially conscious album that should not be overlooked. With subjects dealing with the new world order, to stories about the slums and survivial, this album takes you on a visual ride to the dark side. Personally for me, i was most impressed with the production of the album. Once again, Organized Noize produced a great album with funky samples and instruments. ON is probably the most underrated producers next to easy mo bee. With a good bass system in your car or house, this album just oozes soul all over the place.

What are your opinions on the album? What is/are your favorite songs from it?
Because i care about issues that affect minorities. Even though he’s not a fav. of mine, 2pac was very socially conscious. I just like music that talks about issues. Same with TLC and their songs.

I own a 1969 Beetle and love it to bits.
Unfortunately it has not worked for a while and i’m currently trying to MOT it. So far it has cost me £400 (i’m not including the hundreds i’ve spent on it in the past) and have now discovered it’s gunna need at least another £100 worth of work doing just to be able to MOT it.

I am a pregnant full time student and i have pretty much just lost my part time job. Money is tight.

Do i just pay my mechanic for work done so far and cut my losses and try and sell her un MOTed (max i could probably get for her is around £600- she’s a good looking bug), or do i pay the extra £100 (maybe more), and live on baked beans for a month, MOT her, then sell her (for bout £1,000) and use the money for a more reliable (but boring) car?
Or do i pay the extra, and keep her and hope nothing else goes wrong before baby comes??

I love my little bug, but times are hard :( I am 25 years old

Open Question: Are you a classic car purist?

Take my purist test and find out!

1) What engine is more suited to a 1965 Jaguar E-type?
A. Stock 4.2 Inline 6
B. 350 Chevy V8

2) It is OK to put a trailer hitch on a original 1966 Ferrari. (True or False)

3) Autozone spinners are more suited to:
A. a 1967 Shelby GT500
B. they are not suitable for any vehicle
Sonny, I hope you don’t own any original classics! You did answer right on the spinners Q. though.

So, she’s a junior (16 yrs old) and Im a freshman (15 yrs old). Lots of people say I look like Im a sophomore or junior, so that could help close up the age gap. Plus, we don’t go to the same school. We know each other from the church youth group. Do you think age really matters so much?

She’s honestly the most amazing girl I’ve ever met–girl of my dreams! Really nice, smart, not superficial (I love that about her), great smile, I could just keep going…Sorry :)
We smile and say hi whenever we see each other, plus she said I played dodgeball really well twice and said I was an awesome drummer. Its not like we talk that much but she’s started all of the conversations we’ve had, and she’s smiling throughout the whole thing, even though it’s not a very interesting/funny topic. We were talking yesterday, and I found out that she’s a classic rock fan like me, so I’m super happy about that. From what I can tell, we have a lot in common.

I’m a little bit shy (not super shy, just a little) and Im scared about asking her out, so I need some advice about how to get that courage to ask her! (this would be my first time asking any girls out)

I want to ask her out in about three weeks or so. I was sort of thinking about asking her if she wants to come over my house after church on sunday (valentines day lands on a sunday this year. would that be too cheesy?), and we could walk to the pizza place a few blocks from my house (my parents wouldn’t let me get in the car with her, so driving there is out :). Does that make an ok date? Would asking on friday be too short notice?

Thank you so much! She really means a lot to me, so I need some good advice.
Does it mean anything if a girl starts putting on makeup while she’s talking to you? I think I might of heard something like that, but I’m not sure.

Hi, I drive a 1991 Chevrolet S10 Blazer, 2WD, 2Dr, 4.3 Liter Engine. My question is what is the firewall made of? Steel or aluminum? The truck suffers a classic Chevy condition; rust. I need to know what the firewall is made of because the rust has eaten all the way through in several spots on the floorboard (to the engine compartment). To repair this, I first need to know what the firewall is made of. I believe back then it was steel. Then, I need to figure out what tools I need, what materials I need, and what the steps are to sealing and repairing these holes. This will probably involve some welding. Please, give me your input. I need professional advice on this, as well as advice from anyone who has done body work on cars and trucks.

We just received this e-mail from a TTAC commentator#8217;s friend in the SJPD.Just finished working 6 shifts in San Jose. I can say from the front lines, stolen cars, burglaries, vandalism and theft are significantly up from where they were a few years ago. The bad times are back.
