Heryby a few photographs of the new Mercedes-Benz museum in Stuttgart, Germany. On May 19, 2006 the museum was opened for the public. The museum was designed by the Dutch architects Berkel & Bos. 175 Merceds-Benz classics can be admired in this very impressive museum! www.museum-mercedes-benz.com

The Karma from Fisker Automotive in Southern California has been much anticipated. Half family sedan, half sports car, this extended range hybrid has been one of our favorites here at Zoomilife for a long time. Lately, it’s been showing it’s abilities on the test track as it peels rubber towards its official release date. The Karma was recently at the Mazda Raceway in Laguna Seca, California. Hitting the track and doing a complete circuit, the Karma made getting to 100mph on the racet

The video was in black and white. It was a clever re-telling of the classic story. I’m trying to show my young son that rap used to be about story telling rather than just money, cars, guns, drugs and women. I was hoping to use that along with Cindefella by Dana Dane.

We’re 14, and we’ve been dating for about a year now. His birthday is like a month away, and of course he says he doesn’t want anything. I love him and he means alot to me, but I have no clue what to get him. He’s not into watches, or cars, or anything classic that other guys might like. I got him Chanel cologne for Christmas, so I don’t want to get him that again. I was thinking like a couple of nice Hollister or AbercrombieFitch shirts, (we both like those) and something else? Please help!
OH! And Valentine’s Day comes before his birthday does, so what should I get him for that, too? Thanks!

I’m one of the old timers who was just used to cellulose paint. I am painting my classic car now with 2K paint. I plan on using base coat and clear lacquer. My problem is I am painting two colours (black and ivory), I have been told that if I paint the black base coat first I have to paint a coat of clear lacquer within 30 minutes of painting the black base so it will bond to the black base coat. Once lacquered and dry if I mask the black off and paint the ivory base this will react with the clear coat at the edges of the black. Even if I mask right to he edge of the black then mask to the edge of the ivory, either way fresh paint will have to touch whether it be overlapping or edge to edge.
As I will only get one chance to paint this I am trying to reduce any problems or reactions.
Do you have any advice that will help me paint the car? How would you tackle the job and what products if any would I need to buy to achieve it if needed?
Thanking you in advance
Cheers Mark
Thank you for your response Wolf but I am using base and lacquer for a reason. The vehicle is a working wedding car and I want it to shine. I also don’t want the paint to wear through like the cellulose has on edges with constant waxing and polishing. I just neet to know if it will react and blister and if there is a way of avoiding this. Many thanks
